Launched by a Chinese company called Shenzhen Sleepon Technology Co Ltd, Go2Sleep was developed in order to help people take full control of their sleep and monitor how their night’s rest affects their general health.

In this comprehensive Go2Sleep review, you will find everything you need to know about how the device works, its effectiveness, potential side effects, and price-to-value ratio.

What IS SLEEPON Go2Sleep?

SLEEPON Go2Sleep is a ring-shaped sleep monitor that utilizes an advanced AI algorithm to help you understand your sleeping patterns and improve the overall quality of your sleep. The package includes the main monitoring device, a charger, a micro USB cable, three silicone rings, and the user manual that includes a warranty card.

The proprietary algorithm called SleepFit ensures a perfectly accurate signal throughout the night since it uses an abundance of capillaries on your finger instead of your wrist, as some conventional sleep monitors. The device is extremely comfortable to wear, does not require any additional wiring, and weighs only 6 grams.

Go2Sleep comes with a proprietary app that allows you to monitor your sleep data in real-time. The app is compatible with all mobile devices running Android 4.4 and up and iOS 9.0 and later. The supported languages include English, German, Polish, Japanese, and simplified and traditional Chinese. The only downside we can see with the app is that you cannot lock your phone while it is monitoring, which can be a problem for individuals accustomed to sleeping in a completely dark bedroom. The recent dark mode addition, however, mitigates this issue to an extent.

When it comes to different reports available every morning, they include overall sleep time, sleep staging, heart rate, blood oxygen, AHI, toss and turns, and sleep debt. On top of this, you can add accounts of your family members and monitor their sleep quality as well.

How SLEEPON Go2Sleep Works

As already mentioned in this Go2Sleep review, the device is worn like a regular ring throughout the night and the SleepFit algorithm tracks the relevant parameters while you sleep.

The SLEEPON app displays 6 sleep stages, including awake, REM, Light sleep stage I, Light sleep stage II, Deep Sleep Stage III, and Deep Sleep Stage IV. You can compare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to better understand your sleep patterns, which can tell you more about your sleep quality and indicate potential sleep disorders as well.

The so-called global minute chart lets you view your data reports in 4 dimensions (heart rate, sleep stage, blood oxygen, and sleep movement) for every single minute and allows you to understand the data changes better simply by zooming in the chart.

The so-called sleep labels are used to record your daily activities and see how they impact your sleep quality by comparing different tags. For example, you can compare the effects of yoga, reading a book, watching TV, lifting weights, and pretty much anything you do throughout the day.

Go2Sleep also features a low oxygen alert designed to wake you up if the level of oxygen in your blood suddenly drops due to bad posture or snoring. If you lose the monitor, you can always locate it using the implemented Find-a-Ring function.

How Is SLEEPON Go2Sleep Different?

Conventional sleep trackers usually go around your wrist, which is not an ideal location for gathering all the relevant data. Go2Sleep is worn as a regular ring and has access to many more capillaries, which guarantees more accuracy and a better tracking scope.

Go2Sleep transmits relevant information to its dedicated app in real-time and your family members can even monitor the results while you sleep. As we already mentioned, you can add the accounts of your loved ones to your app and inspect their data too. This is especially important for the elderly with certain health conditions and irregular sleep. With Go2Sleep, you can monitor the vitals of your parents or relatives from a different room, house or even city.

Does SLEEPON Go2Sleep Stop Snoring?

No. Go2Sleep is just a monitor that tracks some of the user’s vital functions and sleep quality throughout the night, but it does not stop snoring on its own. That being said, it CAN detect certain factors that indicate snoring and tell you how they affect your sleep quality.

If you are aware of your snoring problem and know that the positioning of your lower jaw is the cause, the official SLEEPON website does feature a mandibular repositioning device that can also help with teeth grinding, which will further improve your sleep.

SLEEPON Go2Sleep & Sleep Apnea

Go2Sleep can detect sleep apnea cycles, providing you with a report that includes the total number of episodes throughout the night. However, it is not designed to handle sleep apnea in any way and cannot stop it on its own. When it comes to these reports, the app and the monitor itself are not too accurate and definitely need more work.

Does SLEEPON Go2Sleep Have Any Side Effects?

As already stated in this Go2Sleep review, the device was designed to resemble a regular ring with a bit of a bulky attachment on one side. With that in mind, the monitor is unable to cause any adverse effect since it neither utilizes any harmful mode of communication with your phone nor releases any electromagnetic waves during operation. As such, it can be used by both children and grown-ups without any fear of harmful side effects.

Who Should Buy SLEEPON Go2Sleep?

As stated in this Go2Sleep review, the device is completely safe and without any unwanted side effects, which means it can be used by pretty much anybody.

Apart from monitoring their own sleep, people also buy Go2Sleep to track the sleep cycles of their loved ones, especially if they are experiencing certain problems due to illness or old age.

Go2Sleep does come with one logistic limitation, though – it cannot be used on babies and very young children simply because the provided rings are too large for their fingers.

If you want to track your own sleep cycle or monitor the sleep quality of your loved ones, Go2Sleep is the right device for you. If you are looking for a snoring aid or something that will help with sleep apnea, Go2Sleeo CAN provide you with valuable and actionable data, but it cannot deal with these issues.

What Users Think About SLEEPON Go2Sleep

When it comes to the positives, people who use Go2Sleep say that it is the most comfortable sleep monitor they have ever used. The package contains 3 different rings that should fit pretty much anybody, so you do not have to worry about losing it during the night. The fact that it allows people to monitor other individuals on one account has also been pointed out as a huge benefit and the implemented alerts basically do all the monitoring so you do not have to look at the screen the entire night. According to users, the “standard” data is very accurate and the daily/weekly/monthly graphs allow them to detect potential changes over time.

On the other hand, users also report that the information related to sleep apnea cycles definitely needs more work. Moreover, some customers are displeased with the device since they bought it assuming it will deal with their snoring and/or sleep apnea.

SLEEPON Go2Sleep Cost & Refund Policy

Go2Sleep monitor costs $99 and the company arranges deliveries in 2-3 business days. The overall delivery time depends on your geographic location. The upgrade version (SE) is basically the same product with a convenient fingertip holder and it costs $109.9. The fingertip holder is sold separately as well at a price of $19.9. The aforementioned mandibular repositioning device costs $39.90.

Although credit cards are accepted, the company advises its users to use PayPal instead since credit card payments have a tendency to fail and get rejected for whatever reason.

If you are not satisfied with your Go2Sleep device, you can return it 7 days after receiving it. The monitor has to be unused, in the original condition, and with the undamaged box.

SLEEPON Go2Sleep Pros & Cons

Verdict

Go2Sleep is truly a revolutionary device among sleep monitors, which uses the abundance of branching blood vessels in your finger to track relevant data instead of the capillaries in your wrist. It monitors your sleep quality in 4 dimensions and transmits the collected data to your personal phone app in real-time.

However, you should keep in mind that Go2Sleep cannot solve your potential snoring and/or sleep apnea problems, even though it can record some useful information that should indicate your snoring level and the number of sleep apnea cycles throughout the night. As already stated, the data related to sleep apnea is still not perfectly accurate.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a device that can track and record factors related to your sleep quality, Go2Sleep is the perfect monitor for you. However, if you or your loved ones have snoring or sleep apnea-related issues, this device WILL provide you with some actionable data, but it cannot solve them on its own.

The Go2Sleep ring stopped working after 1 week. All attempts to contact the company have failed, the links to customer service do not work. At this time I believe Sleepon.us to be a scam site.

    Maybe not built to last?
I purchased my SleepOn 14 months ago. It stopped charging and I was told “the warranty is for one year” and that I could buy another one.
The company didn’t express any interest in seeing what or why it failed- so maybe it is just built that way.

I don’t understand why you write that it doesn’t stop snoring !
You set at what level of O2 it should alert you and when you reach it it vibrates 3 times. I tested it.
I don’t know if it’s enough to make you change your sleep position, but it’s supposed to.

I also read somewhere that it vibrates only if there is still 80% battery, which is wrong too. I tested it with less than 60% and it triggered well.

I have to say that the measures when used as a ring are not very consistent for me, but with the fingertip holder it’s very stable.

I tried 3 different sleep rings and this was the worst. The others do so much more. And forget about that refund policy. They will NOT give you a refund. I tried to send it right back because I found one that does more and they refused. I was told it had to be defective and I had to prove it. Maybe because they’re in China!

  4. Jack Callaway | April 20, 2019

Incredible device! My wife bought it for my birthday after a small health scare on my part and now she can read the reports every morning and have a peace of mind knowing I’m completely healthy.

  5. Ingrid White | February 5, 2019

It pretty good for what it is but the first night, it showed me I had 68 sleep apnea cycles, which is just not possible. So, I ignore this information and everything else is 100% accurate.
