This product is not designed to alleviate snoring problems. Its intended use is to block out sleep-disturbing noise, primarily the sound of a partner’s snoring. Please note that the device may not completely cancel out noise.

Only those who live with a heavy snorer know how frustrating and maddening it can be. Imagine not being able to sleep almost at all at night because the person next to you is making sounds similar to a freight train passing through an abandoned quarry. It’s horrible. People who snore often try everything there is on the market, even many of the best snoring aids out there, but sometimes nothing seems to work. If that is the case with your partner, then it’s high time you started taking care of yourself. Instead of moving to the couch or to a whole new house, you could start by reading our Mack’s Snore Blockers review.

This product is ranked #2 on our Best Alternative Snoring Aids list.

What Are Mack’s Snore Blockers?

max snore blockers

Mack’s Snore Blockers are, plain and simple, ear plugs that cancel out the noise around you. Some people wear ear plugs because they are very sensitive to noise or cannot relax and go to sleep if there is even the a slightest sound. And some people, well, some people use them to shout out the unnerving, frustrating snoring sounds of their partner or spouse.

When used properly, Mack’s Snore Blockers can cancel out up to 32 decibels of noise. If you are unfamiliar with decibels and sound measurements in general, this basically means that you either won’t hear any snoring at all or it will be way, way softer and quieter.

These ear plugs are made of soft, comfortable foam and are very easy to use. They have a unique hollow end that makes them particularly comfortable and maximizes the noise cancellation effect. They come in a nice lime green color, bright enough to allow you to easily locate the ear plugs on your bed stand, purse or travel bag. They can be reused, but since they cannot be washed, they come in convenient multi-pair packs.

To reap maximum benefit from these ear plugs, wear them whenever you are around a heavy snorer and do not take them out. They should stay in your ears throughout the night, giving you a quiet, restful night.

How Are They Different?

Obviously, our Mack’s Snore Blockers review is trying to show they are nothing like any other product on the market of snoring aids. And we have to say that they are really unique – they are not designed or meant to stop anyone from snoring. They don’t work on the snorer but on his “victim” – his (or her) bed partner. Some people simply have to give up and admit they’ve lost the battle against snoring, but their partners or spouses don’t have to go down with them.

They can find comfort and peace in a simple little thing like a pair of ear plugs. Also, it’s worth noting that in many cases the snorer doesn’t even notice or mind his or her own snoring and the only one suffering is the person next to them.  Also, these ear plugs are softer and made of higher quality materials than many other regular ear plugs on the market. They come with a convenient travel case and you can buy different-sized packs.

User Experience

As we already mentioned in this Mack’s Snore Blockers review, they are very comfortable and easy to use. They come in one universal size, but they should fit just about any ear. The soft foam they are made of makes them highly adjustable. The trick is to squeeze them between your index finger and your thumb and to press them down so that they shrink a little. Once shrunken, insert one ear plug into each ear, the narrow end first, and press lightly so that they sit properly inside your outer ear canal. Once they are in, the plugs will slowly expand until they fill the entire canal (the outer, safe part of the ear, of course), thus preventing noise from getting in.

Price

A package of 24 ear plugs (12 pairs) costs $7.71 and comes with a travel case. Mack’s Snore Blockers are also available in larger packages or tubs – the larger the package, the more convenient the price.

Bottom Line

During our research for this Mack’s Snore Blockers review, we realized that they are truly unique on the market of snoring aids, simply because they are created with the snorer’s partner in mind, not the actual snorer. Finally some comfort for those who live with incessant roaring noises all night long! If your partner has tried everything and still cannot quit snoring, then this is the right product for you.

While these ear plugs are comfortable & good for maybe blocking out the the littlest snore possible, they do nothing to block out actual, normal snoring. I don’t like giving bad reviews, but these ear plugs have simply never worked for me. A lot of other people seem to think they’re wonderful so that’s good too though.

My wife tried every single antisnoring thing on the market and none worked. In the end, I just bought a pair of ear plugs and it’s been great.

I know it doesn’t really count as something that stops snoring, but for me and my boyfriend it works. I cant hear him and he can sleep
